Follow us on Twitter (twitter.com/mdgreens) and Facebook (http://facebook.com/marylandgreenparty) for the latest updates.
Help us build our financial resources for future campaigns, petition drives, legal support, and supplies. Become a monthly contributor at http://mdgreens.org/donate.html or download a mailable form at http://mdgreens.org/sustainer.pdf. You can also make extra forms for your friends.
Support our organizing efforts by making a one-time contribution at http://mdgreens.org/donate.html or mail a check to Maryland Green Party, P.O. Box 29915, Baltimore, Maryland 21230.
If you're not already, register Green by downloading the form online (http://bit.ly/e38yLe) or picking one up from your local library or MVA office. The more members we have, the closer we get to "principal party" status and the less work we have to do to meet restrictive ballot access requirements. The State Board of Elections does not automatically send us updates about new registrants, so make sure you let us know that you have gone Green (http://bit.ly/mgpmailinglist).
Get involved with your county chapter, or help start one if there is none in your area. According to our party bylaws, our Coordinating Council is made up of party officers and delegates from our county chapters (locals). Locals help recruit new members and leaders of the party, support local candidates, and work on local issues and campaigns. Any three registered Greens who commit to holding regular meetings can form a new local. Send a message to info@mdgreens.org for more details.
Current local chapters include Anne Arundel County (http://arundelgreens.org), Baltimore City (http://baltimorecitygreenparty.org), and Montgomery County (http://www.mdgreens.org/montgomery).
Start a College Greens chapter at your school. Check with your student affairs office to find out what you need to do to create a new registered student organization. Advertise for supporters, hold an informational meeting, and figure out what campaigns will help the Green Party grow at your school. Email info@mdgreens.org to let us know you are getting started.
Mention the Maryland Green Party at your neighborhood association, social justice or environmental advocacy group meeting. Pass a sheet (http://mdgreens.org/signup.pdf) around to help us add interested people to our our mailing list.
